Jerah Hutchins was born in April of 1982 in the small town of Greenville, Texas. She is a first generation Texan and 2nd generation American- her grandparents hail from Sicily. During her freshman year in college, the 9/11 terrorist attacks occurred and inspired her to become more involved in military and veteran support, often participating in volunteer efforts for the VA and VFW when she attended college at the University of Texas at Dallas.
When she was 21, she helped launch “All American Fundraising”, a company that helped non-profits raise funds for their cause by selling true-minute phone cards and sending them to our troops overseas. She enlisted her friends overseas on deployment in Iraq to test the cards by calling their friends and family and obtained a letter of confirmation from Gunnery Sergeant Kevin Hayles from 29 Palms California which facilitated a partnership with Operation Up-link. This partnership ultimately saved Operation Up-link 1.5 million dollars a year in phone cards to deployed military.
Jerah also participates in Skyball, Snowball, Hope’s Door, SPCA charities and Toys for Tots annually.
She currently serves as a Director for the Defender Outdoors Shooting Center in Fort Worth, Texas- a robust, veteran employing, shooting center dedicated to training and educating civilians on responsible gun ownership. As a staunch 2nd Amendment and military supporter, Warrior City is the perfect organization for Jerah to serve in her first Board of Directors role.
